Are you passionate about Data, SQL Server and eager to work in a robust, highly available, fast-paced surroundings environment? If so, we?d like to speak with you! Our client is a small company with a large company infrastructure, and we are seeking a talented SQL Architect to join their R&D team.

The Data Architect drives for excellence in data design and query performance. The ideal candidate should have good understanding of data, database design, and performance optimization with six plus years of writing, troubleshooting and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server designs and queries.

Responsibilities:
Design, evaluate and optimize database structures (tables, views, and functions) working with our agile development teams.
Work closely with the production DB team to resolve challenging performance issues.
Write, review and modify T-SQL code.
Create T-SQL queries for internal production reports, exports to data to other data formats and running of ad-hoc reports.
Help raise development staff?s awareness of SQL Server best practices for coding.
Assist Operations DBA?s with basic database administrative functions.

Qualifications:
A passion for data, database design, and performance optimization.
Excellent performance tuning and optimization skills. Familiarity with analyzing execution plans.
Strong understanding of database structures. Must be experienced in Creating Tables, Triggers and Stored Procedures.
Full life-cycle database experience including design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Basic database administrative functions (backup, restore, permissions assignment) a plus.
Self-motivated and ability to learn and research issues independently.
Bachelor?s degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
