Opportunity Consultant - Inside Sales

As a member of the Marketing/Lead Generation department, the Opportunity Consultant will be responsible for following up on Marketing outreach campaigns to prospective iCIMS clients regarding opportunities to utilize our software that will help their business stay ahead of the competition in the war for top talent. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proven track record of success in B2B sales and enjoys networking with C-level executives and other decision makers within Human Resources.

The Opportunity Consultant will perform all or some of the following functions:
Creatively and proactively develop new opportunities through a variety of means including warm-calling, cold-calling, networking, one-to-one emails, employee referrals, etc.
Interact with prospective iCIMS Customers of all sizes and industry types via e-mail and phone to understand the business solutions these clients are seeking, answer basic iCIMS Talent Platform product questions, identify the time frame and primary decision maker for the purchase, and develop rapport with clients before forwarding the created opportunities to the Sales team.
Work closely with Product Positioning Department to gain an understanding of the new solutions and services being rolled out to existing customers and prospects.
Perform other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Prior Sales or Marketing experience preferred
Undergraduate degree from a competitive school with a strong academic track record, or equivalent experience (preferred majors include Marketing, Business Management, or Communications).
Ability to absorb and succinctly articulate new product offerings quickly.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet applications.
Previous experience working in the technology or software industry is a plus.
Previous customer support/service experience a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
