Job Purpose:
The Sales Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the General Manager by helping to drive the sales process in a club. This is accomplished by helping the GM source and assess qualified sales talent, train and upskill the sales talent and executing a flawless sales process.
Key Areas of Focus:
Sell memberships according to TSI sales management processes.
Supervise membership consultants in his/her club.
Source and recruit membership consultants as assigned.
Train and develop membership consultants.
Assess membership consultant trainees upon completion of training
Oversee initial membership consultant assessment and first 30 days in role.
Deliver a great experience to all guests who visit the club.
Requirements
Required Skills and
Experience:
4 - 5 years or more of sales experience in a fitness, hospitality or retail environment.
1-2 years prior corporate account experience leveraging advanced selling skills to cultivate a long term business relationship
Adherence and compliance to protocol and company processes (sales, recruiting, training, coaching)
Excellent customer service skills, outgoing, motivational, and friendly.
Ability to form collaborative partnerships and work closely with General Managers and Business Directors.
Ability to communicate in a clear, succinct and professional manner.
Ability to provide feedback and coaching that is specific and constructive.
Able to work a full-time flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business, including mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends
