Supply Chain Clerk

Our client, a global logistics company is seeking a Supply Chain Clerk to expand their rapidly growing team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
Positions Overview: The Supply Chain Clerk will be responsible for Assisting the Supply Chain Coordinator with coordinating the daily outbound operations and placing orders for inventory. The Supply Chain Clerk will be responsible for processing returns, assisting in the investigation of customer chargebacks and managing supplies. The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Clerk:

  • Assisting in scanning deliveries
  • Placing orders for new inventory
  • Collecting and labeling packages
  • Assisting the Supply Chain Coordinator with computer based tasks
  • Responding to internal and external customer questions of the status of operations, accounts or services
  • Assisting with tracking orders and information through systems, vendors and related sources
  • Receiving and reviewing safety documents for accuracy such as dates, times and location
  • Performing basic office and clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Supply Chain Clerk:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management
  • 0-2 years of experience, open to recent grads!
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookups)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
